ABOUT US
Fourteen years ago, the prestigious fraternity of Alpha Kappa Psi established its presence on the campus of Towson University. Since May 6, 2006, the Omega Kappa chapter has shaped each and every individual that has had a chance to become a brother of Alpha Kappa Psi.
We teach our brothers all the values that are needed to excel in their day to day lives. The Omega Kappa chapter knows that education is extremely important to our organization. This is why we strive to have semesterly study halls for our brothers in order to create a welcoming learning environment. Our brothers use the knowledge instilled in them and what they learn coming into the brotherhood to progress in their education and in any career they might have the opportunity to attain.
Our brothers take pride in being responsible individuals within and outside the brotherhood. The Omega Kappa chapter believes in respecting each and every single brother as well as individuals outside of our organization. Our brothers believe in speaking with honesty, thinking with sincerity, and always acting with integrity.
Service has a lasting, positive impact on society at large. Our chapter strives to engage in all kinds of service. Our brothers are involved in various types of service opportunities all around the Baltimore area. We believe that engaging in community service has the ability to provide our brothers with the opportunity to become active members of our community. We believe that participating in acts of service not only help us to acquire life skills, but it also helps us to provide for to those who need it most.
Together we stand, divided we fall. As an organization, we like to take the necessary steps needed to move in one accord. Our chapter has learned that unity is successfully achieved through teamwork and collaboration. With unity, our chapter has been able to achieve many accomplishments. We have high hopes that we will be able to achieve many more in the future so that our chapter will continue to remain strong.
The brothers who make up the Omega Kappa chapter have grown to become a family. From pledge class to pledge class, our bonds with each other get closer which in return creates tighter connections and new and everlasting memories. Our brotherhood believes creating alliances, maintaining relationships with our alumni, and building friendships with each other that will last beyond our undergraduate years.
